Specialist Sports Physiotherapist, Leanne Rath discusses how she uses philosophy, phenomenology and anthropology to inform her clinical practice.  Her work in elite sport and with high-performance athletes drove her to explore newer models of thinking, as there was often so much more to pain than just injury. In other words, viewing injury through a broader lens. 

 

Leanne discusses complexity and systems theories and how she incorporates them into her thinking about the injured athlete and how to implement them into rehabilitation strategies.
